La noticia no es muy nueva (salió hace dos semanas en El País) y el anuncio desde la embajada de Nueva Zelanda es del día uno de este mes.

The Working Holiday Scheme agreement between New Zealand and Spain has just been signed by both governments, but as an international treaty it still requires ratification by the national legislatures of both countries. It is not yet clear when this will take place.
Only after ratification has been completed by both countries will the immigration authorities in each country put systems in place to receive applications.
It is therefore likely that the Working Holiday application documents for Spanish and New Zealand citizens will not become available until some time in early 2010.
We regret that we can’t give exact information at this stage, but if you contact us again in the last quarter of this year we may be able to tell you then.
En cristiano que el Rey de España ha firmado el acuerdo y ya está el asunto OK pero que tiene que pasar por las cámaras del parlamento de los dos países y no se sabe cuando será.
Así que hasta principios de 2010 no estarán disponibles para solicitudes para el visado pero estarán que es lo importante.
He mandado un mail a la embajada de Australia a ver que me comentan sobre la situación del visado entre el país de los canguros y España.
